  Tim Schukar - Tom

Who says Actors are dumb? Tim grew up working on cars, building houses and blowing up toys with fireworks. ...Ok, maybe a LITTLE dumb... After landing a lead role at age five, Tim’s love for acting was sparked. He went on to land lead roles in his high school plays and even won a state championship for a One-Act.
After high school, he decided to get a “real” job and graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Biomedical Engineering. He went to work at NASA as the Shuttle Orbiter Medical System (SOMS) Engineer at Johnson Space Center. Six months later, he went back to night business school at the University of Houston and received his M.B.A. with emphasis in finance and management.

Even while his career at NASA was going great, Tim couldn’t stay away from acting. He began to book leads in feature films in the Houston area. Nothing else could thrill him like working on a film set. When he could no longer delay the inevitable, Tim put in his notice at NASA, and moved to New York in 2004.

Tim’s stay in the City was regrettably short. Even though he loved every moment of it, from Broadway to Opera in the Park, he realized that he had to move to LA to fully pursue a professional film acting career. So in 2005, Tim moved to Los Angeles.

Since moving to Los Angeles, Tim has been making waves on television and on film. He continues to study acting on a weekly basis and realizes that he can never fully “arrive” as an actor. He feels very blessed to be working with incredible casts and crews and is humbled by every set.

When asked about “Mindsight,” Tim replied: “Mindsight is an actor’s dream! No other film gives me the opportunity to show such a HUGE character arc. Billy, Javier, and Marc were great to work with. There was NO shortage on laughter even through the dramatic scenes. I hope everyone enjoys this film even HALF as much as I did making it.”
